My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: CALIFORNIA
Under our employer's/company's policy, when we travel for work, we are given a bonus (for example $50/day) in addition to our regular salary. All employees at the company knows and understands this. There is no dispute over this.
Is that $50/day bonus legally supposed to be paid to me at the next scheduled payroll date? Or is the employer allowed to pay it whenever he wants?
