My question involves court procedures for the state of: Georgia
I had my car taken to a repair shop, I was told that my car needed a new radiator and hoses. I paid for the services and when the car was picked up it overheated in five minutes of driving it. I returned to the shop with the car and the mechanic claimed that the car was not running hot, that the car was fine and giving off a false reading. Long story short, believing the mechanic I left with the car and 20 minutes later was broken down on the side of the road with a smoking car. Now the car needs an engine because the head gasket is blown from the car overheating. My question is: do I have a case against this repair shop, and are they liable for the damages?
