My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington, City of Tukwila
I received a citation for speeding allegedly going 55mph. I do not think I was traveling that fast.
I filed for discovery as stated in the sticky.

My question is that the Falcon HR radar comes with 2 tuning forks - a 35mph and 65mph. The officers state that he only tested with the 65mph fork. The manual for this device seems to state that testing should be done with both.
Secondly, the manual suggests that minimum operating distance for this radar is 250ft. The officer state he visually estimated my speeding before using the radar. Looking at where I was in comparison to the officer, and using the argument that 55mph is moving ~80 feet per second, I would have been inside the miminum operating distance when he took my speed.
Lastly, the radar unit has 3 mode of stationary operation - Approaching, Receding, and All. The officer does not specify which mode he was operating in.
Based on those things, doe anyone feel I have a case?
