My question involves malpractice in the state of: Illinois
I need some advice..........My daughter had a baby at Carle hospital and there were multiple things that were handled incorrectly. They were trying to force a natural birth when the baby was upside down and could not come out, they tried for several hours. Finally having to do a C Section. They did not do proper testing for blood sugar and the baby was born large. She had to stay in NICU because of breathing problems and low blood sugar........they said because of her size. Anyway, the baby has had multiple problems with eating and throwing it up every feed, as well as uncontrollable screaming like she was in pain. She is 3 months old now and has been on Zantac and other medications for acid reflux . That is what they said her problem was but then my daughter insisted they do an upper gi and she got a call today and we found out the doctors left the stiches behind her belly button in ...........they forgot them. Now the baby has to have an operation because the sticthes are now enveloped by her tissue and muscle in the stomach. I need your advice about an attorney that would take that case on the basis of pay by winning the case, and do I have a case?
