I have lived with my close friend for 2 years or more, not on the lease but with the landlords knowledge. My friend went to jail a few weeks ago. As of last week I was hospitalized now the landlord will not let me return.
Does he have to evict me? Can he just remove my property? What rights do I have? I need time to make other arraignments.
