My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: New Jersey
My physical ticket that the officer handed me says:
19:9-1.2 SPEEDING IN EXCESS OF SPEED LIMIT BY 30-34: MPH 105 - 65
However, when I went to view my online ticket it says:
19:9-1.2 .44 Tpk -speeding (.44 Indicates speeding by 40-44Mph)
105Mph is 40Mph over the speed limit, however the physical ticket says I'm only being charged with going 30 to 34 mph over even though it is noted that I was going faster than that. Was the cop trying to cut me a break? Or am I still going to be charged with going 40-44Mph over the speed limit like the online ticket says?
