My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: California
Ok, So I was trying to park in a neighborhood with a narrow street, and tons of parked cars, I decided to go and park somewhere else , Making a U-turn , But there was a car that wasn’t parked properly, Having his car towards the street, And I hit his car thinking I had space to go forward, But I was literally on 2 mph. All there was a little bit of my paint on his door side, and a little scratch of his paint in my car. He instantly took pics of my Licenses plates, And I went up . I Apologized, he asked to see my insurance, And took pics of my licenses, and Insurance. So I asked to do the same , He only gave me his License.... My phone camera wasn’t working, So I wrote it down . When I asked for his insurance he told me I didn’t need that.
So I go in my house, and my step sister went out with her phone to take pics, and asked for his insurance he said “ for what” , giving attitude. After 10 minutes of her asking for it, he finally gave it. As I look at the picture his insurance policy expired last month. My question is , Can he do anything ? He already filed a claim upon his part with my insurance.
