My question involves criminal law for the state of: Colorado
So after me and my friend were caught concealing merchandise at Walmart, the employees and management taught us an interpretive dance about Criminal Trespass and we were also banned from the store. We had to go back at a certain time after closing to do the dance all over the again and wear rave outfits for it and if we made even one mistake they would press charges.
So yesterday was the day. Everything was going good until I accidentally stepped on of the frills on my friends boot. My friend lost her balance and fell down, banging into me and I also fell down and crashed into the head manager. We are now both being charged with shoplifting as well as assault which isn't justified because it was an accident what happened during the dance.
How do we fight this?
