My question involves real estate located in the State of: California county of siskiyou . My neighbor is telling me he has a prescriptive easement , he has 160 acres of logging land he bought 1 year ago at auction , I have 40 acres I just bought , we had a title search done with emphasis on who has easements his did not come up . He is saying because road threw my property has been used in past he has easement . I have an old gat at entree to my property probably has been there for 50 years but one side was broken I fixed it and want to lock him out can I do it ?
