My question involves a child custody case from the State of: VA
I have been asking a lot of questions lately but so much seems to be happening and I really appreciate all the help.
My ex is currently supposed to pay a higher amount of child support because he sees his daughter less then 90 days during the year. He told me he wants her more often to get over the 90 days and pay less child support. I am perfectly fine with him doing this, I certainly wont complain about that or fight that in any way. But I am a little concerned about the fact that he is actually not able to really take care of her after pre-school, before pre-school or on weekends due to work. It will most likely be his parents or his fiance ( and her family) taking care of her. Would he have a chance with getting this through court (thats were we are heading right now due to another issue) that he says he takes his daughter more often and pays less but she isn't really spending time with him? And yes, he only is doing this so he can pay less child support. Otherwise he would not change the amount of time he spends with her.
