My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Arizona
I am a business owner in Arizona. One of my 1099 contractors is having his wages garnished by his ex wife (Judgement Creditor). My question is, does my business responsible for garnishing the wages if he is a 1099 contractor and not an employee?
The Judgement Creditor's attorney is threatening to take me to court if I don't.
