I'm a fan of a lot of fantasy, and while I do enjoy certain first names or place names, I know I'd like to pay homage to some writers with a short story I'm writing. I'm just curious to what the legality of using certain names are. I was looking at the following names. I wonder can I use these names as either family name or given name or would they be copy written where they're from?
Urza (First name, a Planeswalker from Magic: The Gathering)
Mishra (First name, brother of Urza from Magic: The Gathering)
Winterfell (Place name from A Song of Ice & Fire, thought using it as a surname)
Kurosaki (Surname, from Tite Kubo's Bleach)
Rhaenys (First name from A Song of Fire & Ice)
