My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Florida
I have a friend that is going through a divorce while living in South Dakota and has moved to Florida. His employer just received a notice form Department of child Service South Dakota to begin taking child support from his paycheck, is the employer automaticly required to make deductions since this is out of state, and he also doesnt have a court ordered document saying child support has been granted to the parent still in South Dakota? What advice would be given?
