My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
My court case is finally over and I have been sentenced and am serving that sentence. No jail time fortunately. To show the judge my gratitude I want to buy 2 tickets to a comedy show in the area and invite him. I would even pay for a cab to and from the venue so we could both have some drinks while at the show. Could I get in more legal trouble for this? Do you think the judge would like to go?
