Suspension and Revocation: What to Do About a Driver's License Suspension and Increased Fines fro Unpaid Tickets

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Florida

Hey! So quick questions, I've been dealing with my license for a while now. Going on 3 years.

I had a valid drivers license when I first got pulled over for speeding, it was my first time being pulled and I was nervous and accidentally handed the officer my registration which was from the previous year, my registration at the time was valid. I was given a "ticket" for my registration(And only my registration because I had a clean driving record) and was told to just pay the $10 fee and I did that online. I was then pulled over a year and some change later for an illegal u-turn, when I was pulled I was told my license was suspended due to an unpaid ticket, the officer at the time asked if I had proof of my first paid ticket, I said no. Forgetting I had a copy in my glove box, at that time he had already drove off, and I had to let the passenger in my car drive. So I received a ticket for driving with a suspended license unknowingly and an illegal u turn(Something to note* that same spot I received an illegal u-turn at, no longer had the no u-turn sign, I didn't pay it because a week later it was gone* Can i do anything about that??). Some years later after returning from school overseas I realized that my tickets went to collections and the price of course doubled. Is there anything I can do about this?
