One week ago my wife got in a small accident. Insurance paid for a new bumper and fender, no structural or mechanical damage was done to the car. All damages were repaired and it even got a new paint job.
We got the car back and sold it that same night before the Carfax system updated. This means we sold and signed paper work saying that the car was never in an accident.
Can the dealership come back at us for this? It
The Damage disclosure agreement says," Has this vehicle been damaged by collision or other occurrence to the extent that damages exceed 25% Yes No
of its value at the time of the collision or other occurrence? (Applies to 5 Model Years old and newer)
If yes, list parts that were damaged.". The car is a 2010, so it is over the 5 years old line.
