My question involves real estate located in the State of: FL
I received a letter from a "management company" about storm cleanup on a vacant property I own in FL. My swales are overgrow and need work, and that if I don't do it, they will. After talking to other residents, it seemed better to let them do it to their standards (which I don't have) and pay for it. The last part of the letter reads;
"Failure to pay the assessed cost will have a lien placed on your property."
Now I'm being told they are just going straight to placing a lien on the property.
Can they do that?
