Los Angeles, California. I was in the Marines for 8 Years, and just recently finished School, Got my AA in Law, Married for close to 10 years. Back in 2011 I was arrested for a Domestic Incident involving my wife, no charges was filed, DA Dropped everything. I was booked and let go the next day. I always wanted to join a police force surrounding my city, once I was done with my Associates Degree. I requested the paperwork from the County of Los Angeles of the charges concerning my arrest and it was a 243 E 1 of the Penal Code. My wife was upset to say the least, because even she was like I just wanted you out the house. I wasn't packing my clothes fast enough for her and in a heated argument she was upset. My question is will this put a huge damper on becoming a Police Officer.
