Wedding Photographer Ambiguous Contract

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: FL

I have decided to fire my wedding photographer about 2 months prior to my wedding. We aren't happy with her level of professionalism and have decided to find a replacement. Our contract states "If the wedding is rescheduled, cancelled, or postponed; the deposit is non-refundable after August 8th, 2017 and shall be liquidated damages to the company." There is no other mention of cancellation or under what terms the deposit is refundable.

She is saying the contract lists cancellation or postponement of the wedding as the only stipulation in which the deposit is refundable. Am I wrong in my thinking that the contract wording is ambiguous, as it does not say specifically that rescheduling, cancellation or postponement of the wedding are the ONLY way the deposit is refundable?
