We had custody of our two grandchildren for several years because their parents were on drugs and got in legal trouble. My son eventually got clean and remarried. We let him have the kids back three years ago, but they have been terribly unhappy ever since. Their step mother is emotionally abusive and they want to live with us. They are 10 and 13. At what age can they choose to do that?
