Disability Benefits: SSDI and Riding Motorcycle for Short Trips

I am receiving SSDI for the last 4 years and making it ok. My car needs major engine and transmission work which I can not afford. My neighbor has a motorcycle that he is willing to
let me have to get around. I have heard that if you are found riding a motorcycle while receiving SSDI that SSA will stop your benefits. I would be using the motorcycle to get to and from doctors appointments, small amount of groceries, and necessary short trips. Can anyone in the know confirm or deny if I would be taking a chance of losing my SSDI?
