Wanting to a Dec Biologist or Encon Officer with a Sealed Record

Hello everyone, first time post here. Looking for any help regarding a past sealed record and future government employment. At the age of 13, I regrettingly was involved in a very bad crowd. To make a long story short me and several other kids were charged with a multitude of misdeamors and two felonies due to a house break in, where we partied, some property was damaged, etc. I served about a year and a half of probation but had a good lawyer so the felonies were dropped under the condition that I plead guilty to the misdemeanors. Also included in this deal was that my record would be sealed. I believe the charges were something along the lines of petty larceny, trespassing and criminal mischief, although I do not remember exactly. I was let off probation early for good behavior and since then have completely turned my life around. I have had no legal trouble since then, not even a speeding ticket. Since I was so young and wanted a future working for the government the Judge agreed to seal my record when I turned 18. Currently I am 19 in school studying Environmental Science and Biology in the hopes of either one day working for the New York Department of Environmental Conservation or possibly even as an Encon officer, which requires going through something very similar to a police academy and the jobs have many similarities, although you deal more so in crimes related to Environmental violations. My concern is if even though my record is sealed that because it is a government job, specifically one in law enforcement if they would still have access to those files. I've tried doing research and while I found that in cases where you've been convicted of crimes as an adult it would disqualify you I can't find anything on if you have crimes in a sealed record. If anybody would be able to help me out on what the laws are regarding this type of situation for either job, or even any firsthand experience it would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to put in all the work for college and getting a degree only to find out it was a waste of time and money. Thank you all for any input you may have, it would be truly appreciated- Josh
