Civil Rights Restoration: Gun Rights Restored, but Nics Denied

My question involves criminal records for the state of: Arizona.

I had my gun and civil rights restored, however when trying to purchase a firearm using FFL.. I got a denial. :wallbang:

So my question is, can I purchase from a private person in Arizona and bypass it?

Since I have my rights restored, am I ok as long as I keep the firearm on me only in Arizona? Or does this present problems since I have been denied?

Any thoughts is appreciated.
