My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Michigan.
I bought a used car from my local dealer. Got it home, everything was fine. Then my ball joints and clutch went out. Took it to my mechanic. He ask me if I knew this car was almost completely rebuilt. I proceeded to obtain a carfax report. According to the report, my cars title is a salvage title. What do I do from here is my question? Take it back to the dealership and demand they make it right, or should I get a lawyer? They never disclosed in writing or orally that it is a salvage title. Carfax doesnt even show the dealer I bought it from even owned it to sell to me. They cant even reproduce any service records proving they inspected it after obtaining it as the dealer advertises. The car dealership in question is Sundance Chevrolet in Lansing, MI
