My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Georgia
the accident happened almost a month ago. I was minding my own business when one vehicle slammed into the other and then one of the vehicles veered towards our direction, smashing into the car next to me which then slammed into me. i didnt suffer any injuries but the child next to me was rattled by the impact and was tramautized by injuries of driver 1. The insurance from driver 1 is now stating that they will not be covering any of my damages but that the insurance from driver 2 will cover everything. The insurance from driver 2 said that in the police report there is shared negligence from driver 1 and 2. Driver 2's insurance wants to help me with 50% of the cars damages and that driver 1's insurance needs to cover the other 50%. Driver 1's insurance tells me that they will not be paying out 50% because they believe they have no shared negligence which goes against the police report and an eye witness. I have no vehicle right now and driver 2's insurance has told me that i will need to be paying out of pocket for the other 50%. I have no vehicle right now and im completely stresses on what to do.
