My question involves a child custody case from the State of: New York
My child support order was set in New York, my ex and my daughters moved and have been living in North Carolina for over 10 years. I no longer live in New York either. New York holds that I pay child support until my daughters are 21. Am I able to move the order to North Carolina where the age of maturity is 18, which they both have reached and graduated high school? I believe that New York should no longer have jurisdiction.
What would be the process to terminate?
Please help
