Grandparents and Third Parties: Family Ties Program in Orlando

My first post...

As a result of an injunction, the court has ordered monitored exchanges of our child. However, prior to the injunction we already did this via another family member. Is it no longer feasible to do this because it was court ordered to do it another way? The program is called Family Ties... http://ift.tt/2rT57Vy
The description states, "Parents must agree to cooperate with the Family Ties Program. Participation in the Family Ties Program requires a court order."

I'm unsure if this is a last resort method of guaranteeing that our child sees both parents, or if regardless it must be done this way because the court ordered it so. It does not seem to be optional, but the information given is always vague. Furthermore, the injunction paperwork clearly states that another family member will be utilized for daycare purposes.

In my particular case I fail to see the purpose of using Family Ties. What am I missing?
