My question involves police conduct in the State of: Tennessee My car was reported stolen on March 4 22017.The investigator handling the case did not notify me of it's recovery on March 25 22017.Instead I find out on June1 2017 by accident. Keep in mind my car was recovered in a city 3 hours away and it's been threre 69 days accumulating fees in excess of $1600.00. My address didn't change and the investigator was notified March 26 2017 of the recovery. What rights do I have in reguard to the cost of storage all this time?
