My question involves court procedures for the state of: New Jersey
Hello. My neighbor and I have had a falling out recently over the use of my property to which he has a ingress/egress easement and I have asked him to remove his farm stand from my property and he refuses. I was told by police they can do nothing as it is a civil matter. So I have hired an easement attorney and she has informed me of: neighbor has ingess egress only, not permitted any other use, no structures, fencing or his farmstand. As you can imagine calling or emailing my attorney results in billable hours, So I hope to get an answer here first. We are about to send a demand letter to the neighbor and if needed take them to court, either way since my neighbor refuses to remove his stuff from my property and I have had to hire an attorney to get him removed can I sue the neighbor for the lawyer fees? Thanks.
