My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: California
Hey All!
I was caught up in a motorcycle accident no less than one month after I purchased the bike, and I was not at fault(even have video surveillance footage and witnesses to back me up), the only problem is that since the dealership did not ask for proof of insurance, I was under the presumption that I was okay to look for it on my own time, guess that did not turn out too well. Long story short, the other partie's insurance company is only willing to pay the current MSRP of the bike, which is only half of what I bought the bike for.
My question is, since I feel like my current accident/injury attorney's aren't exactly proactive with responding to my questions, is there any way to switch attorneys? (I am already at the last stage of the process, but i havent signed any documentation regarding to my agreement to the paymment)
or if there is any way I can also take this up with the original person who caused the accident? ( during the accident he said he would pay for everything but i know that probably doesnt mean anything anymore) All i want to do is to even out my expenses and get on my way and put this in the past. I am a full time student and losing so much money and means of transportation takes a big toll on my schedule and my wallet
