Sales Agreements: Odometer Fraud

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: California
I bought a used car from a used car dealer and after 2,000 miles the motor spun a mane bering rendering the motor useless. After taking the car to a repair shop we discovered that the car had a junk yard motor. I spoke to the dealer and he said he was unaware of this and that we bought it AS IS and good luck.

I researched the sale of the junkyard motor and discovered that the dealers repair shop had bought the motor from the junk yard and installed it the moth before my purchase.

The milage on the bill of sale clearly does not match the junkyard motor and I am wondering if I have a case or not.

Thank you very much for your time in advance.
