My question involves restraining orders in the State of: California
So my wonderful ex filed a DV restraining order against me, claimed i was served (had a friend lie and sign and notarize it), had the hearing without my knowledge.
I just found out about this, is there anything i can do? This is going to mess with everything in my life including my job. The crazy part is i want nothing to do with her and have changed the locks on my doors, my phone number, etc. i catch her constantly driving around my house (like every other day, she lives nowhere near me), tries to contact me thru friends, etc. its a real life fatal attraction. The law always seems to side with her as well, no matter how crqzy things get, it’s insane.
I already know shes going to harass me nonstop until she can trick the cops into making it look like i violated my RO.
