3 Mechanic Visits, 11 Weeks, and $3,000 and My Car Still Isn’t Fixed

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: South Carolina

My van died 11 weeks ago. I’ve paid for a fuel pump, 2 TIPM’s, almost an alternator, and had to replace the computer and have it and the TIPM reprogrammed by a dealership. This mechanic has seen my 2011 Chrysler town and country 3 different times and had my vehicle for several weeks this last time. I’m financially DRAINED. My savings is completely gone after $3000. I got my van back today. It ran and started fine until I went to the store and it didn’t start. Same exact issue I initially brought it in for before replacing all of these parts! My vehicle won’t start unless in neutral so it’s an odd symptom for it to just be something else. He said to bring it back for any issues BUT im terrified to give it back to him even after everything because my gut is telling me I’ll need to replace something else if I do and I just don’t have anymore money to replace parts just to have the same exact problem afterwards. Do I need to get a lawyer? Involve the BBB? My family is telling me to call the news and the BBB and all kinds of stuff. I’m at a loss on what to do.
