My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Massachusetts
I do not want a full emancipation just a partial one where my fatter would still have to financially support me and my twin sister. I am fifteen. My father is absent often leaving us alone for days. Also when around he is emotially absent, or he is emotionally abusive. He provides for us though such as food, money, and clothes. My mother is dead. I have a step mother but she is often out of the picture and not very much older than I am. My friend said if it got to bad I could move in with them, but my father will not allow it. Is there anything I could do?
