My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Louisiana.
I have 3 boys from 3 different men. (Please don't judge).
The oldest child is 13 and is the only one of my kids whose fathers name is on the birth certificate, and a custody order. His father is not consistent with seeing him, but is consistent with paying his support.
My second son is 4. His father is not listed on the birth certificate. He does however see my son on a regular basis. We have no court order. He is ordered to pay support. He is close to 4 thousand behind. It has been months since I have received anything. The father is not consistent with jobs. He just began working this month (sept 2016) after over a year jobless.
My third son is 6 months old. His father lives 4 hours away from my residence. He is not on the birth certificate and is not ordered to pay support. In 6 months he has seen our son maybe 4-5 times. He has a rap sheet for drug convictions. Some are felonies as he has spent time in jail.
I recently was offered a better paying job in another state. I did consult all fathers involved. They do not see it is a better opportunity for me and the boys.
My question is, what kind of fight am I looking at in order to take the oppurtunity to better myself as well as my kids.
