My question involves personal property located in the State of: Indiana. My boyfriend's mother just died. We have lived in the house with his mother for the past 7 years. My boyfriend has always loved in the house and has never moved. There is no will. My boyfriend does have a sister that claims she does not want her half of the house. My question is how do we go about getting the house into my boyfriend's name? We don't even know what paper work we may need. Can we take care of this without a lawyer?
