My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: CA
Recently I got an $230 traffic ticket for making a left turn into a one solid and one broken yellow lane that merged into a double solid lane to enter the left turn pocket. The officer wrote 21460a vl obsd viol drive over dbl yellows to enter lt turn pockets." I told the officer that my car tire was running out of air and that is why I ended up making the turn because I didn't want my car to not be able to move at all. I also have a picture take from the car system telling me that the air in the tires were low. I showed him and he said they look fine. Then he wrote me up for a traffic ticket. The area where I received my ticket was in the Los Angeles Korea Town area on the streets of Wilshire and Western ave. My car was on Western heading up to Wilshire to make a left onto Wilshire.
I did some research and noticed that a lot of people were able to get some kind of win from this case by submitting a trial by written declaration and I was hoping to do the same as well. I was wondering what code I would be able to fight against this case and would be very thankful if I could get some help with this. Thank you and have a nice day~
