Calculation of Support: Ct: Support Calculated Based on Prior or Current Income

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: CT

Good day all, currently going through a custody battle. I have my kids full time, and it is time to establish child support.

Never married, and have been apart for 2 years.

The question I have is, is support calculated based upon income while we were together, or current income?

My job is different now then it was then, hence the question. Thanks!
