Child Support Arrears and SSDI Benefits

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Florida

Years ago Dept of child support closed my case in FLA when my ex moved to Tennessee and then went to jail.

After he got out, I gave up trying to persue support for a number of reasons.

Suddenly, I hear from my now 26 year old daughter that my ex went and filled for SsDi and got it. A check was cut to his attorneys and then one was supposed to be put in the mail for me to pay back the arrears which were substantial.

I was told I had to put my now 24 year old disabled son on his father's benefits which I did.

Over five months later I still haven't seen a support check or any notification of anything.

I called child support who won't do anything because the case is closed with them.

I called Clerk of Courts who now has the case and they say no debt has been satisfied with them.

I call social security and they say they see nothing for me.

Does anyone have any advice on this very frustrating child support issue?

I go from hearing a check will be sent to you from the lawyers in a few weeks to maybe child support has the check.

It's been since August and I'm tired of this game playing.
Can anyone shed light on how this type of process works and where I could find out about this supposed check?

Very frustrated.

Yes, there is still an active income deduction order from the family court, that's how ex husband's attorneys found out he owed child support arrears.
