My question involves criminal law for the state of: Washington
If someone committed welfare fraud to the tune of $20,000 or more by collecting pay for services not rendered over a 6 month time span what are the chances they will be prosecuted and imprisoned? There is no disputing the commitment of fraud as they lived in another state during the time in question. If this person is looking at imprisonment what are they looking at?
