My question involves malpractice in the state of: Kentucky
I was admitted to the hospital on 8/22/16 for a 9.5mm kidney stone. It took two surgeries in two days to have it removed. I was discharged that's evening on 8/24/16. On the following day I was rushed back to the emergency room with labored breathing, shortness of breath, wheezing and swelling. I was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia and was readmitted to the hospital. While in the hospital the nurses put in a mid line iv because I had no more vien access for ivs. I was later discharged in Sunday 8/28/16. Later that evening while I was home my arm began to become red and swollen where the midline iv was. I went back to the er on 8/31/16 and was diagnosed with a blood clot in my brachial artery where the midline was. I was sent home on blood thinners and a follow up with my family dr. Do I have a case for the aspiration pneumonia and now the blood clot as well?
