My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: South Africa.
Social worker removed my 6 year old son from his father's house. We were never married and my son was visiting his father. The following day I went to court after the father informed me of my son's removal. When I requested my son to be released into my custody the social worker as well as the magistrate refused. The case is remanded every time for some or other reason. When I requested my son to be placed with my brother the magistrate refused. No court order or any legal documentation have been handed to me at all (The case is now going on 4 months). The court ordered certain tests be done but refuse to give me court orders. What do I stand to do?
