A friend of mine is age 12 and sexually identitys as bisexual. She is not out to her parents as they are homophobic and her older sister was kicked out for coming out as bisexual. What I am curious of is, is it legal to lock a minor out of her home? Her parents were talking to her about how they believe homosexuals, (and anyone else in the LGBTQ+ community,) is a sin and what not. She simply stated, "I don't see what's wrong with it," and they locked her out of the house, and refused to let her back in. This was approximately 2 ante meridiem. I offered to pick her up, she denied. She couldn't sleep due to nothing to sleep on, except for her yard. The next day her parents came in and out to let the dog out, feed the chickens, etc. And still refused to let her in. They let her in at around 3 post meridiem. Is it legal for them to do this?
