Fired Over False Sexual Harassment

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: colorado

Hello, I am a truck driver. I drive form plant to plant and fill my truck up with rock sand dirt or gravel. I then go into the shed house, sign a ticket with my order on it and take the load back to my job.

I went to work on a Friday. I went to the same plant 5 different times. The first two times there was a man I have seen every time I go to this plant. He poured my sand, I signed my ticket with him and went on my way. The third time I show up and there were issues with the microphone. A woman comes outs, I’ve never seen her before. I said good afternoon and asked where the man was. She said he had an appointment and I would be dealing with her the rest of the day. I signed my ticket and left. Came back a fourth time, got filled up, went in signed my ticket, left. The last time, I went in, signed my ticket then went across the street to a gas station. Parked, ate my lunch and played a game on my phone. I went back to the plant and ended my day.

The weekend passes, I go to work Monday, finish off my day, get back to my job to clock out and they call me into the office. I was asked if anything happened on Friday and I mentioned how I got cut off by people but that was all. They said no, with the woman at the plant specifically and I said no. She was there my last few stops, there were issues with the microphone but that was all. So they hand me a paper, said to read it. I did.

In the letter it states that friday a man who matches my description went into the shed house. Tried to lock the door behind me, walked up to her, grabbed her hand kissed it. Began kissing her neck, began groping her and asking her for pictures and when she said no I pulled my phone out and started taking pictures of her. Then I left.

I was immediately disgusted. They asked if it sounded familiar. I said no. I have a wife and four kids at home, why would I jeopardize that. They asked for my side of the story so I told it. They said they would have to further investigate it and in the mean time to keep working.

Come to work the next day, can’t find my dispatch. They call me into the office and they said, we talked about this last night and we decided that it would just be best for the company if we let you go. I asked, just like that. With no proof or anything, I los met job. And they said there is proof. She gave us your ticket at 3 with your named signed on if. And I said that doesn’t mean anything, what about the cameras and they said the zonar shows me walking into the shed and walking out a minute later but it only takes a few seconds to do those kind of things and I said that’s not true what about the cameras at the gas station and they said it shows me parked but that doesn’t matter because there’s no proof of me in the shed house. I’m in disbelief, they said that none of it matter basically I’m not a good person. I flipped off a woman (she got in front of my and slammed her breaks, I aired my horn, then she repeatedly messed. With me by slamming her brakes so she flipped me off so I flipped her off), I put holes in back tires (the machanic unplugged a hose that I never would have known and the outcome was my brakes locking and messing up the tires), I was late (never given a write up) and now this tops it.

So I left, told my wife. Went back later for my check and letter of termination.

My manager talked to me and said he looked at my family and pictures on social media and he can’t wrap his head around it. He said I don’t look like the kind of person to do something like that so it sucks. But basically it looks bad for the company if they don’t respond to her accusations and it can make them look bad if they keep me. They said they don’t believe her but they also can’t fogure out her motive and why she didn’t go to the cops and waited an entire weekend before she made a complaint. They asked what my plan was and I was honest and said if I can seek legal action I’m going to go against her for justice because what she did wasn’t right. They said if I do that and can prove I didn’t do anything they’ll give me my job back!!! But they also said they wouldn’t stop my chances of getting another job by bad mouthing me.

I don’t even know what to say or what to do. My whole world got turned upside down over a false accusation and I kee thinking of every scenario possible. Maybe it happened and she got me confused with someone else. Or for some reason she was just out to get me. But I’m a friendly person. I say hello to whoever I meet make small talk. Never do I say anything that can be talent e wrong way. I kindy own business and I go on my way.

My question is can anything legally be done?
Towards my former job and her? Was I wrongfully terminated as well? Or am I just wasting my time with the possibility of getting myself in trouble because there is no visual proof of me not doing what I was accused of.
