My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Connecticut
Wondering if this is sufficient wording for CT form. So far, relative is not being cooperative and I have concerns that he will not vacate the property.
From the form: "You must quit....for the following reason(s) (specify):"
"Termination of month to month tenancy.
Named occupant is a relative of the property owner and has enjoyed the use of premises without paying rent. There is no lease agreement. Owner verbally notified occupant on November 17, 2018 of intent to sell property and requested occupant vacate the premises by January 1, 2019.
Occupant is requested to vacate property, including the removal of all personal possessions. Owner reserves the right to charge occupant for any and all damages to property caused by the occupant's abuse or neglect."
