My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Minnesota
I recently enrolled my child in school and as the parent with sole physical custody can his non custodial parent take him out of school? I have paperwork that states she has no custody or visitation time. I was told by his teacher if she showed up saying she wanted to take him they would have to let her do so because she is his mother. She told me to give a copy of the paperwork to the office administrator to let them know the details. My issue here is couldn’t anyone just show up and say they are any kids parent and take them out of school? Seems odd to me. Thanks in advance.
