Service and Repair: Mechanic Diagnosed Coolant Leak 'Cause' , Picked Car Up Today, Coolant Still Leaking

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: California

vehicle info- 2008 Audi A6 awd

I don't know what to do! I took my car for repairs, paid & picked up today and SAME PROBLEM

There was definitely a coolant leak its the reason I was having it serviced, he was checking for causes of the leak, He diagnosed the cause of the coolant leak at the thermostat housing and connector pipe. The total repair cost for labor and parts, $940. I agree being that the coolant leak needs to be fixed, I just bought the car 1 week prior and don't want any major issues.

He has had my car for 3 weeks, over that time called once a week, the first time to say that he thinks the radiator hose needs to be replaced due to it being worn. I approve the the added part (again I just want my car repaired with minimal future problems) He calls me the second week saying he thinks he found another leak (coolant) from the bottom hose, I again approve the added part for the bottom radiator hose to be replaced as well.

He called me this morning telling me that its no longer leaking coolant and is finished ready for me to pick up! I was so happy... I get to the shop he shows my my old parts ( I kept them even though they kept saying they would throw them away for me ) And shows me under the hood 'generally' where he repaired and how the coolant is full and even thought I had a recent oil change He recommended another saying he put sea foam in ther to get rid of any coolant that me be in the oil ( that was my initial thought was my coolant was leaking in the oil, I came to that conclusion by researching Audi mechanic forums, I even told him this but he stayed with his diagnosis), I'm just happy my car is fixed!! I pay the 1100 dollars and leave in my car. 430pm.

I go to the car wash and wash my car ( he had some kind of leak in his roof at his shop and it leaked rust all over my car, While washing my car I noticed major scratching and dents all in my car. It was immaculate, brand new paint job before I bought it.
I called and inquired, He of course denies any responsibility, saying he would check the cameras. I just leave it, Honestly what can I do.

I get home from washing my car and open the hood ( I'm big on checking oil, coolant and just looking in general) and my coolant level is down 3 inches!! the leak is definitely still there!

What am I supposed to do, I feel weary of going to the same place who obviously didn't fix It in the first place, But I just paid 1100 dollars to have it fixed! I cant afford to pay the same to another shop. Is there a way to get my money back, can I cancel payment? should I file a claim against his shop with the state? I'm sure he would be willing to continue 'fixing' my car while charging me

I feel so stressed out, It was supposed to be fixed, now I'm out 1100 and still have the same problem.

Is there anyway I can prove that his diagnosis was "his guess" and wrong? would that do any good?

what do you recommend I do?

Sorry if I'm rambling I'm just so upset, Ive never posted on a forum before
