My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California
I just moved into my apartment a month ago. I signed the lease 6 weeks ago. The landlord has not signed the lease and given me a copy. I have asked the building manager many times and he has passed on my request, but I still don't have a signed copy. I just moved in and don't want to be the "problem tenant", but I'm very uncomfortable and suspicious not having a signed copy.
Is this something I should be concerned about? Is there anything I can do to legally force them to give me a signed copy?
Thank you
