My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: New Hampshire
My son just purchased a two family home. There is a tenant & we were told they had until the 5th to get out & had No Lease. After the closing which was 7-6-18 we were told by the tenant that she does have a lease and doesnt intend to leave. When we contacted the previous owner he said his partner had given the tenant a lease that ends on August 15th, and that he wasn't aware of it. This tenant is a problem tenant meaning she hasn't paid rent in months has no sort of income etc. We were to move in this unit. She has made it very clear she's not leaving. What's the fastest way of getting her out. It's a whole bunch of people living in this unit.
