My question involves paternity law for the State of: Louisiana
I am wondering how to go about requesting a DNA test be done. The mother and I split up in February of 2014 and she got with her new boyfriend the same month. In October 2014 she gave birth to a girl and they both signed over the child to be placed for adoption. I just found out she gave birth to the child on 7/4/18 when we started talking again. If the test says she is mine I am willing to fight to get custody of her and raise her.
